Everything published on NZ Visa Guide is general information about New Zealand immigration rules. It is not immigration advice, not legal advice, and not tailored to anyone's circumstances. It does not create a client relationship of any kind.
New Zealand regulates immigration advice under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007. We are not licensed immigration advisers and we do not provide the services that require a licence. If you need advice about your own case, use a licensed immigration adviser or a New Zealand lawyer, and verify the licence on the Immigration Advisers Authority register.

NZ Visa Guide is an independent publisher. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Immigration New Zealand, the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, or the New Zealand Government. All visa applications are made directly with Immigration New Zealand at immigration.govt.nz. We charge nothing for anything, and we cannot lodge, expedite, influence or check the status of an application.
Accuracy and currency
We take accuracy seriously and set out our sourcing standards in our editorial policy. Every page shows when it was last reviewed.
Even so: immigration rules, fees and processing times change frequently and sometimes at short notice, and the rule that applies to you can depend on facts specific to your case. You should always confirm anything you are about to rely on — particularly a fee, a deadline or an eligibility requirement — against the current official page before you act on it.

To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on information published here, including where that information has become out of date. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
